Two Lake Havasu City residents were arrested last week following a narcotics investigation that culminated in a search warrant served at a Richey Circle residence. John Robertson, 44, and Jennifer Robertson, 41, both identified as Lake Havasu City residents, were taken into custody on September 24, 2026. The arrests stemmed from an ongoing probe by local law enforcement.

John Robertson faces multiple charges, including possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open container in a vehicle, and failure to yield to a law enforcement vehicle. Jennifer Robertson was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals are currently held on a secured bond following their initial court appearances.

The investigation leading to these arrests has been conducted by detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. This specialized unit operates as a key component of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), a multi-agency task force dedicated to combating drug-related offenses. Detectives initiated their ongoing investigation into allegations of illegal drug sales believed to be occurring throughout Lake Havasu City, which ultimately led them to the Richey Circle address.

As a significant step in their inquiry, detectives successfully obtained an approved search warrant for a residence situated in the 1000 block of Richey Circle. Following this, surveillance of the targeted residence was initiated by the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit.

On September 24, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m., while surveillance operations were actively underway and prior to the actual serving of the search warrant by the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s SWAT team, detectives observed John Robertson. Identified as the suspect of the ongoing investigation, Mr. Robertson was seen leaving the Richey Circle residence in a vehicle.

Law enforcement detectives subsequently followed Mr. Robertson’s vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. This attempt to pull over the vehicle resulted in a short pursuit. Ultimately, the vehicle pulled to the side of the road, and Mr. Robertson was detained by the detectives without further incident.

Following Mr. Robertson's detention, the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s SWAT team proceeded to serve the previously obtained search warrant at the residence in the 1000 block of Richey Circle. During the execution of this warrant, Jennifer Robertson was detained at the location.

As a direct result of the comprehensive investigation and the actions taken on September 24, both John Robertson and Jennifer Robertson were arrested on the aforementioned charges. During their initial court appearances, a judge set a $25,000 secured bond for each subject. Subsequently, both individuals were transported to the Mohave County Detention Facility, where they await further court proceedings. The ongoing investigation highlights local efforts to address illegal drug sales within the community.
