Two Las Vegas residents were arrested on September 26, 2026, in Lake Havasu City following a road rage incident that included a shooting. Malachi Walls, 31, and Jasmine Walls, 27, both from Las Vegas, Nevada, face multiple charges stemming from the late-night confrontation.

Lake Havasu City Police Department (LHCPD) officers were dispatched to the area of Acoma Boulevard North and McCulloch Boulevard North at approximately 10:17 p.m. in response to reports of the road-rage incident and a possible shooting. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located both vehicles involved in the altercation and made contact with the occupants.

The subsequent investigation by LHCPD determined that Malachi Walls had retrieved a firearm and fired multiple rounds at the other vehicle. The gunfire struck the rear tailgate of the victim's vehicle. Fortunately, authorities confirmed that no injuries were sustained by any individuals as a direct result of the shooting.

The incident originated shortly before the initial dispatch call, involving a verbal altercation between a male and a female in the 1600 block of McCulloch Boulevard North. During this initial dispute, occupants of a second vehicle began yelling at the male and female. This interaction quickly escalated, leading the male and female to pursue the other vehicle. The pursuit unfolded at a high rate of speed through several city streets within Lake Havasu City.

As the investigation progressed, officers determined that Malachi Walls had discarded the firearm from the vehicle at some point during or after the incident. Officers successfully located and recovered the weapon. Following these findings, Malachi Walls was arrested and now faces serious charges including disorderly conduct with a weapon, discharging a firearm within city limits, and false reporting to law enforcement. He is also charged with four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of endangerment, criminal damage, and drive-by shooting.

Jasmine Walls, the other individual involved, was also taken into custody. She faces charges including false reporting to law enforcement, criminal speed, reckless driving, and hindering prosecution. Additionally, Jasmine Walls is charged with four counts of endangerment and facilitation in connection with the road rage incident and shooting.

Both Malachi Walls and Jasmine Walls appeared in court after their arrests. Malachi Walls was issued a secured bond of $11,500 and subsequently transported to the Mohave County Detention Facility. Jasmine Walls was issued a secured bond of $10,000, which she posted, leading to her release.
