Lake Havasu City Police Department (LHCPD) officers arrested two Las Vegas, Nevada, residents, Malachi Walls and Jasmine Walls, after a road rage incident on September 26, 2026, that included a shooting on city streets. The incident, which led to multiple felony charges for both individuals, occurred near the intersection of Acoma Boulevard North and McCulloch Boulevard North.

At approximately 10:17 p.m., LHCPD officers were dispatched to the mentioned area following reports of a road rage incident and a possible shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located both vehicles involved in the confrontation and made contact with multiple occupants present at the scene.

The subsequent investigation by officers determined the sequence of events that unfolded shortly before police were called. An initial verbal altercation involving a male and a female had taken place in the 1600 block of McCulloch Boulevard North. During this initial disagreement, individuals from another vehicle began shouting at the male and female.

Following this initial verbal exchange, the male and female pursued the other vehicle. They followed it at a high rate of speed across several city streets within Lake Havasu City. At one point during this pursuit, the male retrieved a firearm. He then discharged multiple rounds at the other vehicle, with the bullets striking its rear tailgate. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained by any individuals as a direct result of the shooting itself.

As the investigation progressed, officers ascertained that the male had discarded the firearm from his vehicle after the shooting. Law enforcement personnel later located and successfully recovered the weapon.

The male was identified as 31-year-old Malachi Walls, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was arrested on numerous charges, including disorderly conduct with a weapon and discharging a firearm within city limits. Additional charges against Malachi Walls included false reporting to law enforcement, four counts of aggravated assault, and four counts of endangerment, reflecting the presence of multiple individuals in the targeted vehicle. He also faces charges of criminal damage and drive-by shooting.

The female involved was identified as 27-year-old Jasmine Walls, also from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her charges included false reporting to law enforcement, criminal speed, and reckless driving. Jasmine Walls was also charged with hindering prosecution, four counts of endangerment, and facilitation, for her alleged role in the incident.

Both Malachi Walls and Jasmine Walls appeared in court after their arrests. Malachi Walls was issued an $11,500 secured bond and was subsequently transported to the Mohave County Detention Facility.
